We have celebrated 4th birthday of EofNET Networks! We have spend a 4 most amazing years here on EofNET with this cool community. So we wont stop till we rich the top!

EofNET is announcing public availability of our LAB06 web site. LAB06 is the laboratory designet for software and technology research. We merged two main labs into one next generation lab. This laboratory will do its best for research Open Source software and projects for user needs. We believe that we will bring a good stuff for our community and internals to work with.

EofNET LAB06 Now started to research the new ftp search engine. It will have numerous advantages:

Servers checked by scripts that will check for anonymous access

Servers list will be made directly from RIPE database subnets

Subnets will be converted to ipv4 address range

Manual anonymous server addition

Search by many keywords or file types

Database will be periodically updated

Updates will use CRC checksums to detect newest stuff

All information will be stored in manageable sql database

Search engine will have its own API for future implementation

Engine is being developed and we will soon publish it to the public as alpha preview.

Our Public Free Access to unix system service is growing up and we have more and more users. We are planning to setup one or maybe two more servers for this service. We glad that we have succeeded on this mission and we will keep trying it better. Also the BSDNET IRC Network is getting more and more users, thats outstanding! Our main goal is almost finished, new IABS (IRC Activity Based System) is working good. Everything seems to be okay. Now we are finishing milestone 1 of our small website. It will be opened soon.
